Yeast infections?
Hi guys I am not 5mnths and 1wk and this now my second yeast infection I had one at 14and1/2 wks and now I am getting another one my Dr. prescribed a pill for me to take has anyone else had this happened I am so concerned I see my Dr. next week and I am wondering why I am getting so many yeast infections when I never had them before I got pregnant. Do you think its because of the baby.
My dr told me you get them when pregnant because of the change in hormones has nothing to do with cleaness or anything. I’ve never had one before either but the dr caught one before it got to bad during one of my check ups. Just take the meds and try to keep the area clean. I switched to using the moist wipes when going to the restroom, as well as using panity liners everyday and changing them regularly. Haven’t had a problem since.
Yeast infections are a lot more common when you are pregnant. I can’t remember the reason for it but they are and they are supposedly more painful or irritating then having one when your not. I had never had one before and got one when I was pregnant too. but its nothing to worry about.
I’ve never had any prior to being pregnant. My second trimester was horrible for yeast infections, I had 3 and now that I’m into my third trimester all of those symptoms have gone away. I used whatever they prescribed me, I know it’s a horrible thing to experience but I was told it was due to hormones. Good luck.
