I have been using apple cider vinegar daily for about 8 months. It has helped with gastritis as well as weight loss. I had put on weight as a side effect of a certain medication I was taking. Applied to the skin, ACV even removed a wart I had.

I copied and pasted the info below from: http://ezinearticles.com/?Apple-Cider-Vinegar-For-Candida—Apple-Cider-Vinegar-Kills-Candida&id=1121478

One reason that [ACV] is so effective is because of its alkaline nature. Not only can a small amount of it bring your body’s pH levels back into line, it can also kill the Candida fungus that is causing the yeast infection. It acts in a way to protect your body as well as to reduce the toxicity of several compounds by converting the toxin into something that is less toxic. This in turn can strengthen your immune system as well as prevent you from getting yeast infections in the future.

When you are looking into whether or not this kills Candida, you’ll find that there are many important minerals in the vinegar as well as trace elements like potassium, magnesium, chlorine, copper and iron that you might not get on a daily basis. This can help your body rally and fight the infection, as can the vitamin C and the vitamin A that is also found in it.

One of my favorite ACV links is: http://www.earthclinic.com/Remedies/acvinegar.html. You can click on the "ailments" tab near the top and get to a page for candida.

Yeah, I heard that too. But they said it had to be unfiltered. I dunno though? I would just get an over the counter treatment.
