Why does my wife continue to get yeast infections?
A few months ago my wife had to have her gal bladder removed. Since then she has had three yeast infections and two uti’s. Is there any connection there or should we check into something else? We treat with over the counter things and it goes away but with in a few weeks she gets/got another one.
It’s George Bush’s fault.
could be something she is eating
She might need a presciption.
She should take a prescription of oral diflucan from her doctor to eradicate the infection.
The prescriptions you get from a Doctor may get rid of it for a short time, but pharmaceutical drugs most of the time are useless. Natural cures work without side effects. Eat plain yogurt and if you can , find kefir. Kefir has 10 times the good bacteria as yogurt has. 100 times as much as store bout acidophiles. but all these will kill the yeast infection.
Have you treated yourself for the yeast infection? You may just be giving it back to her, even though you might not have any symptoms yourself. See about getting an oral treatment that you can both take, instead of just topical
Eating coconut oil, taking a probiotic and avoiding sugar and yeasty foods can all help too
You just need to stop giving them to her.
