what is the difference between nistatin and diflucan????

   nystatin (Mycostatin) is an anti-fungal/anti-infective used for intestinal, oral and vaginal candidiasis (yeast infection). It is taken orally and used topically.

   fluconazole (Diflucan) is an oral systemic anti-fungal/anti-infective used to treat oropharyngeal candidiasis, esophageal candidiasis, systemic candidiasis, cryptococcal meningitis, and to prevent candidiasis in bone marrow transplant.
