What are some things i can do when getting over thrush?
Hello, I'm Sarah Rhodes. I can show you how to cure your Yeast Infections, Candida, and Thrush without using drugs or strange diets! I've taught over 5,600 women and men to do the same in 4 easy steps.I got thrush, possibly my body’s response to antibiotics. I wasn’t able to eat for a week, until today when i finally had soup. I know there are certain things i am not supposed to eat or drink, but my gums are itching like crazy. Would it be ok to swish H2O2? I have been taking my nystatin, yuck!, but i was also wondering if I HAD to finish it if the symptoms clear before i did. I hate that stuff sooo much!

You need to finish your medication, otherwise, the thrush can come back and you will have to start all over again. Swishing removes the medication so that is not advised. You can get some orajel which is used when babies are teething and that might help temporarily with your symptoms. Avoid citrus or spicy foods until your mouth is completely well.
Finish the nystatin and rinse with warm salt water in between taking the medicine. If it keeps itching go buy abesol and numb your mouth for awhile.
I had the same problem after I took antibiotics and I was given nystatin– you should finish the whole thing even if your symptoms disappear before the medicine is gone. I actually continued to have the fungal infection even after nystatin, but I chewed/sucked on garlic (!) to rid myself of it, and I haven’t had it since. Each day, I would eat one whole uncooked clove of garlic, and the thrush eventually went away after about a week. If you plan on doing this, be careful at first because the garlic can burn your mouth.
Also, you can swish on H2O2 but it tastes really terrible, I think. I tried that as well. It might help you, though, if you can stand it.
