For the past year I have been douching more than I usually do! I know I am not suppose to be now I am stopping. At first i thought I had a yeast infection or an std but I went to my doctor and she tested me and it all came up negative. I douched this week and last week and now I started to notice that every time I douch i get a bad itching and vaginal discharge. Does douche cause this?? If so I am going to stop douching

Okay this is a serious question.
I’ve had some kind of infection for a few months ( there is just like clumps of whitish KIND OF yellow tinted, sticky and it doesn’t really smell. But it comes off easily, like its not like a normal yeast infection where it sticks to you)
I went to the doctor ( a pediatricion) and based on my symptoms she gave me yeast infection medicine, but then my urine also showed I had a uti so I had antibiotics, which could have prevented the yeast infection from going away right?
Anyways my question is, if I went to a family doctor or gynecologist could they just do a swab test without using a speculum or sticking anything inside me……… ( I am 16 and a virgin)

I know about FLUconazole but,I went to the gyno cause I have been having pain full intercourse, the examination hurt just as much. She told me i had a yeast infection but that might not be my only medical problem, She prescribed me the inner vaginal tablet and said to come back in 7 days if sex still hurt, I can’t insert a tampon with out horrible pain, i want to try to oral tablet but is there an OTC or do i have to bother my doctor of a new script?
Began treatment 2 weeks ago for severe yeast infection. This was first time trying sex since treatment was started.
