I’m on an antibiotic and got a yeast infection. Can I take over the counter medicine like Monistat, while still on an antibiotic? Does it matter which one i get? Meaning If i have 7 days of antibiotics left if i get the three day monistat will the infection come back?

**Does a yeast infection go away after your period or is it still there? Should you still use a treatment like Monistat? Whenever I get a yeast infection it almost always comes right before my period (about a week) — and the symptoms go away after — Does this mean it’s gone?
