Im 17 and last week i went to the doctors to get antibiotics to get rid of a sinus infection. Now i have a yeast infection cuz antibiotics causes them. i started my period yesterday. Usually i just use monistat. Will that work even if im on my period?

I have a doctors appt on Tuesday at 10am bc I think I may have oral thrush, however I also have a dentist appt scheduled at 2pm that same afternoon for a routine cleaning. In the event that I am diagnosed with oral thrush can I still get my dental cleaning that afternoon ???
