That is disgusting >:O
well my guess would be bacterial vaginosis, if it was your regular partner… but even if it is trich, it is easy to treat, but because of the damaged tissues caused by giving birth, you had best get it treated quick or it could go systemic, and that would not be good. Then tell your partner that he will require treatment as well, and by the way, who gave it to him? Sounds like a heart to heart conversation is called for here. Congratulations on your little bundle of joy.
Trichomoniasis Symptoms in Women:
* Genital itching and/or burning
* Vaginal or vulval redness
* Frothy yellow-green vaginal discharge with a strong odor
* Blood spotting
* Frequent and/or painful urination
* Discomfort during intercourse
* Abdominal pain
# Symptoms of bacterial vaginosis: You may develop a grayish-white, foul-smelling discharge. The odor, often described as fish-like, may be more obvious after sexual intercourse.
Testing: Vaginal discharge may be tested in a clinical laboratory.
Treatment for Trichomoniasis and Bacterial vaginosis: Antibiotics – Metronidazole 500mg 2-3 times a day for 7-10 days.
It is especially important that both partners are treated at the same time because an infected man, even a man who has never had symptoms or whose symptoms have stopped, can continue to infect a female partner until he has been treated. Anyone being treated for trichomoniasis should avoid sex until they and their sex partners have completed the treatment.
I think its candidiasis, but gonorrhea and syphilis can also produce the same signs and symptoms. Have yourself diagnosed by a doctor and the only way to be sure if its STD or just a candidiasis is to undergo culture and sensitivity test for your discharges. Through this test they will determine the exact bacteria that has caused the problem so they could also give you proper medications.
I was recently diagnosed with Trichomonas and had the symptoms of yellow discharge, itching, burning, and swelling in the beginning but then burning and itching went away but still had the discharge. Yellow discharge could also be chlamydia or gonorrhea too. Don’t self diagnose because that is the mistake I made. I thought it was a yeast infection too, but those don’t usually have a foul odor and the discharge is usually white cottage cheese like. Get checked because i’m pretty sure it’s one of the 3 trich, gonorrhea, or chlamydia.
