Need Candida Albican treatment advice?
I have been doing some reading and think I have a problem with candidia overgrowth. I need advice on how to treat this condition and how to stop it from happening again. Is this something I can take care of myself or do I need to see a doctor for treatment?
the reason I think i have it is because i have all of the symptoms. chronic fatigue, depression, mood swings, abdominal cramps and bloating, anemia, low sex drive, dandruff, my skin is sensitive to everything, blotchy dry skin etc.
You can treat it yourself. Drugstores carry over-the-counter Monistat. There are 7-day, 3-day and 1-day treatments.
I just read your edit: You definitely need to see a doc…your symptoms are kind of extreme.
It depends where the infection is. If its vaginal you can just buy Monistat at any store. If your talking about systemic then yea you need to see a doctor. Diflucan is a pill they would prescribe for that. why do you think u have candida overgrowth?
Get the book called Lifeforce by Jeffrey s. mccombs, and check out dr shulzes colon cleanse.

Please go see a natropathic physician if you want to treat naturally. If you won’t go to the doctor, you want to take Acidophilus capsules. If you truly have Candida that will help.
If you are lactose intolerant you may not want to take acidophilus as it contains lactose.
Go to a healthfood or vitamin store. Get the product called Caprylic acid. Don’t worry any good health food store will know what you are talking about. It is the yeast treatment. They will sell you a good book on yeast infections. My doctor laughed in my face when I asked about Candida.
Just take the capsules and avoid sugar for awhile.
Books
“The cure for all disease” by Dr. Hulda Clark. Do her 3 cleanses.
“Beating Alzheimer’s” by Tom Warren . He tells you all the right books to read.
“Tissue cleansing through bowel management” by Dr. Bernard Jensen. A must for CFS. You’ll see.
Get a good book on food allergies. You keep a list of what you eat and wait a hour or two for reactions. You will most likely want to avoid canned and processed foods and drink till you get this cleared up. You will want to avoid underarm antiperspirant due to the metal they use.
“It is all in your head” by Hal Huggins It is all about metal.
Over all don’t worry. It is just a matter of slogging through the different possibilities.
Get a live blood analysis. I got it done a couple of times, it is awesome, you will be able to see the candida yeast in your blood and determine in which phase your’e at.
See the following web site:

I could confirm that the Candida was almost gone after six months of avoiding anything with yeast:
bread, sugar, even mushrooms and fruits.
You can find supplements that will help you with Candida at your nearest drug store.
You should see your doctor, maybe have your gallbladder tested. I had all your symptoms and my bloodwork showed an inflammed liver, I even got a skin rash a couple of times.
They took my glallbladder out and I feel so much better today.
Bloodwork will definitely tell you more, though.
Good luck.
If this is the problem, it can be a real slog trying to overcome it. It will almost 100% NOT be fixed by taking a diflucan or similar. Those pills do work in the temporary sense but not to the root of the problem.
Most of us have a candida imbalance, and people who take a lot of anti-biotics or have low immune systems are even more liable.
Depending on how bad the candida yeast is, it can take two to three doses of a very strong anti-fungal course.
You should be doing some sort of anti-candida diet to the letter and using probiotics (apx. 4 per day) at the same time.
If you don’t change your diet the candida will still flourish.
Bad diet, steroids and antibiotics are the main causes for candida yeast overgrowth.
You would need (for a start) to make sure you stay well clear of:
SUGAR
GLUTEN – wheat (even pasta with gluten), barley, rye, yeasts of ALL kinds.
DAIRY (ALL of it)
VINEGAR – this is a yeast feulant.
Some supplemental suggestions would be Lauricidin, Oil of Oregano, Olive Leaf Extract (good stuff), High Dose pure Garlic (but start very low and slow), L-Lysine, and even alfalfa.
As a final note, I would point you here –> http://www.fungusfocus.com/html/candida_diet.htm and wish you very good luck as it’s a very difficult thing to get on top of BUT it will improve your health amazingly if you can stick to it x
There is a product called Fungal Defense, and it’s made by Garden of Life products..Very effective..You need to study about how to keep it gone once you get it under control…Sugars, and anything that turns into sugars in your body will contribute to it’s growth…Once you finish the Fungal Defense, start on the probiotics from the same maker..Good stuff…My hubby was on these, and a friend told us about them..Works really well…
