I have a severe case of tinea versicolor and I’ve tried OTC topical treatments such as dandruff shampoos with no results. I decided to purchase a bottle of Ketoconazole pills (200 mg, 30 pills) after reading a scientific study about other people having results within as little as 2-4 weeks.

I am a 16 year old girl, and I weigh about 125-130 lbs. How much of the medication should I take, and what should I take it with? I already have a idea of what to do based on what I’ve read, I’m just posting out of curiosity to see what people will suggest.

By the way, I cannot contact a doctor because my parents don’t have health insurance for me at the moment. =(
