Discharge…yeast infection or what?
I am 17 years old. I have for the past couple months been noticing a discharge. Sometimes it is clear and mucus-y (gel-like, idk how to describe.) Sometimes it is whitish and noticeable on my underwear. And for the last few days sometimes it is yellowish. There is a slight odor, but nothing too strong. Recently it seems stronger though. Would this be a yeast infection or something else? And any way to take care of it naturally, because I’m not sure I can go to a doctor any time soon. I am also slightly itchy down there….
Discharge is totally normal to have. It can also change at certain times in your cycle. That doesn’t sound like a yeast infection at all. Your vagina produces that fluid to clean itself. Unless it becomes chunky and you have horrible itching and burning down there, it isn’t anything to worry about. If it turns into a yeast infection, you can get something over the counter (like monistat) to treat it. But normal daily discharge is nothing to worry about.
nah its normal discharge, every girl has it
if it has odor and itchy down there, then i think that is a sign of an infection. there are products you can purchase at the store in the section of the store where women’s feminine wash and other products are at, that u can use to treat your infection since you cannot go to the doctor. there are creams and treatments you can use at the store such as Wal-Greens, Walmart, Target for your yeast infection for as cheap as 4.99$. And if you don’t wish to use any products and can’t go to the doctor, the best thing you can do is to keep that area as clean as possible until you are able to get it checked out.
hope that helps hun and good luck =]]
but really, it just sounds like normal discharge and all girls have it. your vagina is also a mucous membrane therefore it produces discharge to clean itself out, so i really dont think you have anything to worry about.
God Bless.
You may just be ovulating, which occurs right before your period.
it sounds like you have bacteria vaginosis. It is a normal thing that happens sometimes. you need to go to your doctor and get some medicine to clear it up. so make some time to go to your doctor. Usually it will go away in a matter of 2-3 days but if it doesnt then you should be going to the doctor. i hope that help.
