    i find that yogurt helps to get rid of it

    i used to get it all the time until i started eatting a cup of yogurt a day, now its been nearly 2 years since i had it last and my health is actually better because of it

That doesn’t mean you will necessarily need a prescription. Try the pharmacist first. Man, that has to be uncomfortable, don’t wait too long.     You can brush it off your tongue but that won’t cure it. You need an antifungal preparation. In some countries you can get a nystatin liquid in a dropper, over the counter at the drug store. Otherwise you will need to get something from the doctor (I recommend lozenges rather than a liquid).

    Another thing that works, but may not be available where you are, is tea tree oil. Put a few drops in water and gargle with it. Be careful as it can be poisonous if you drink it, so only use a few drops and spit it out. Yes I know it doesn’t taste good!

    Yeast feeds on sugar so cut down on sugary foods.
