Can taking expired antibiotics still give females yeast infections?
The reason I took expired antibiotics is not something I want to post on here but now I think I might have a yeast infection but I’m not sure if it’s possible that expired antibiotics can give me one
Expired antibiotics usually still have some antibacterial activity left. And some antibiotics can predispose you to a yeast infection. Because when the antibiotic kills bacteria, then this leaves more space and more nutrients for yeast to use and possibly cause infection.
