I have a yeast infection (all the signs are there) but I have never officially been diagnosed with one by a doctor before. First, you should take a yeast infection test to determine whether or not you really have a yeast infection. Yeast infection tests are much like home pregnancy tests — they’re widely available and you should be able to get one at your local pharmacy or supermarket.
If the test is positive, then go ahead and get some Monistat.
Yes you can. The reason they tell you not to is so you don’t self diagnose incorrectly. If it is really obvious that it is a yeast infection, go ahead and treat it. It won’t hurt anything. But if it doesn’t begin to improve after a few days, you will need to see a doctor. You’ll be fine, though.
well iam a19 year old and i had my 1st yeast infection last week and i did use monistat for the 1st time and although the instructions said not to use it if it was my first yeast infection i did use it and it work and i didnt have to go to the doctor but if you dont feel right go to the doctor
