eat some yogurt or some probiotics to help with the thrush.
or tell your dr – it’s pretty common to have yeast related prob’s after antibiotics, the dr can give you something for that.

It depends on the antibiotic that you are taking. If the antibiotic has caused thrush, then you need to go back to your doctor as it is a sign that you are not reacting well. Thrush is an opportunistic fungal infection, probably due to the fact that the antibiotic has killed your normal oral and pharyngeal flora; if the normal bacteria in your mouth are dead, then your normal GI bacteria are probably also dead. Even if you have to continue that course (please do) it would be a good idea to keep your doctor updated.
Your immune system should go back to normal after you finish the course, however if the dose is too high or if you are sensitive then it may result in (very very rarely) liver and kidney damage- which will probably not happen but which you should be aware of. The bigger problem will be that your normal bugs will still be dead- leaving a place for new bugs to colonize. I would recommend eating plenty of foods like yogurt once you are done.
