How do you get rid of normal vaginal discharge? (not smelly, itchy, yeast infection discharge)

My daughter may have a yeast infection on her finger. I’ll call the doctor tomorrow, but I really don’t want to take her in there. We usually have to wait an hour, and with so many bugs going around, I don’t want my kids to pick something up in the office.
Anyway, if it is yeast (from keeping her fingers wet, chewing them all the time), what will they prescribe? Regular yeast cream?
Has anyone ever been through this? Thank you!
Although this is a very embarassing question, I am wondering what I should take to rid myself of this infection. The other night I had anal sex (for the first time) and afterwards my partner inserted his penis in my vagina. Since that point on, everytime I urinate, although I don’t feel pain, I feel discomfort and a burning/itching sensation. Could anyone please give me any suggestions as to what to do? I would rather if possible purchase something over the counter. Thank you
I have a bad case of strep throat. I got a perscription of antibiotics, plus 3 steroid pills I had to take all at once to make the swelling go down. I also am taking birth control pills. The doc says to take 3 antibiotic pills a day, morning, noon, and night. And they are kind of big pills. I’m really worried about getting a yeast infection. How likely is it that I will get one because of all these meds? What can I do to try and prevent this? Any tips?
By the way, I’ve never had a yeast infection before. That probably explains why I’m so nervous about getting one. My doc said that it is possible that I might get one because of all of my medications and if I do, to call and get Diflucan.
I’m 18 and I’ve had it about 4 times already this year. It comes back about every month and a half, is there anything I can do to stop it from reoccuring once and for all. I’m really getting sick of it.
You see all these websites and shows talking about natural cures and ways to detox the body. One theory i read somewhere was that depression can be cause or made worse by the overgrowth of yeast in the body(e.g. GI tract) and the toxins/irritants they produce. Is this all a bunch of b.s.?
I am a virgin. My boyfriend and I have NOT had sex. Once, we did take a shower together. He ejaculated on my upper thigh, near my vagina. I promptly wiped it off, and used soap. Now I’m pretty sure I’ve missed my period, so instead I have lots of vaginal discharge. Please help.
A friend says yes, because women have yeast in the vagina even when there is no infection. Do you agree?
She has been on antibiotics for 1 week & has kicked the ear infection. I noticed she has a white toungue & it won’t wipe off. It doesn’t seem to bother her but I know it is a yeast/ thrush thing due to the meds. Do I need to get this treated or will it go away? Is there anything I can do at home for it?
It’s been like 4 days and nothing is helping, if anything it’s making it worse. I’ve tried anti-biotic cream, Desitin original, and A&D ointment…. any suggestions.
Oh and it really is just an infection, not an STD or anything like that and I know that for a fact.
